*More Easy Options For The New Season*
Last year saw the intorduction of Buy.At. It enables you to raise money for the club just by shopping at the online shops you would visit anyway... Genius!

This year, we are keen to make free fundraising even more accesssible. This year we launch EasyFundraising.
Is it the same as buy at?
In a way, yes- but it has an additional wealth of other shops that you may also wish to visit. Argos, Dell, Phones4U, Staples, ASDA, Boots are all in, as well as iTunes and EBAY!
Also of great importance, many Flight Companies such as BMIBaby (who fly from Southampton) and British Airways. If you are travelling anywhere over the next year, you could raise some big amounts for Havant at no extra cost to yourself, just by booking through easyFundraising.org.uk
For easyFundraising.org.uk you will need to log in, before you start buying. But dont worry. It takes seconds to do and will return money to the club to help us reach our goals.
Which is better?
Buy.At generally provides a better return to the club and doesn't require a login
(B&Q would pay us twice as much!)
easyFundraising has more shops/ businesses and a glossier interface.
As for which is better, we will let you decide.
Whats it all about?
(Info from the beginning in case you missed out last year)
The principle
It’s simple: You buy what you want online through buy.At/HavantHockeyClub or easyFundraising.org.ukand the retailer gives Havant up to 15% of the purchase price back. You get the same online rates or even a special discount!
Who’s In?
The scheme includes major brands such as M&S, John Lewis, Tesco (not
groceries), HMV and Novatech. It also includes services such as Sky, uSwitch, Egg,
Super Break and Thompson Flights. The scheme is in association with Amazon,
however the club will only get 1% from Amazon purchases. For books, both
Blackwells and Waterstones will give over 6.4% back to the club.

How Does It Work?
When there is something you want to buy:
simply, go to http://www.buy.at/havanthockeyclub, http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk or follow the links placed prominently on the clubs website.

From there you just follow the link to the shop you want (or log in and go for easyFundraising). Buy your items in the usual manner and the system does the rest. Your transactions are kept private and the club gains every time you buy.
Please note: Do not disable your cookies when using this. The system never
looks at your information, but needs them to identify a Havant buyer!
Great Examples:
• As a test, I purchased a book from Blackwells for £23.99. The Club received £1.54 in return. It all counts!
• Buy clothing or any non-food items from M&S and the club will get 5% back.
• Take out a Capital One credit card via the shop and the club will get £23.
• Sign up for Sky and the club will get £50! |
