Dear Parents After the successes of last season we are busy preparing for our next one. This is not a time to be complacent but to attempt to build. The dates of 2012 and even 2016 are not that far away and it is our dream that Havant players will be actively involved. This year we are following England Hockey age groups and working to year (Jan to Dec) not school years, for example children born in 1994 will play and train in u/14’s. There may be some leeway in certain cases and if you are concerned I would ask you to discuss the situation with your manager. We start training week beginning 3rd September. As last year we will be asking you to fill in the attached application form and give it to your MANAGER at the first training session. Please do not send them to me. Training fees for the year will be £80 and this must be paid by 30th September otherwise your child will not be able to attend training.. Match fees remain at £3. Finally, can I make a request to all of you to help where possible this season be it taking children to games, helping collect balls at training sessions, manning the caravan at the John Wright Tournament to occasionally managing a team.
