Welcome to Havant Hockey Club Ladies section

Ladies Club Captain- Penny van Berkel

I have taken over as the Ladies Club Captain this season. I would like to say on behalf of the club a big thank you to our previous Ladies Club Captain, Chris Allberry, for steering the Ladies Section successfully through the last few years.

As the new season starts our Ladies 1st XI have a new coach and have begun pre season training with enthusiasm. Our other Ladies teams are spread across the Hampshire League Divisions and our Second XI are looking to regain their South League status again this season. The 3rd and 4th XI give a solid foundation for players to progeress through the club, and add to the social scene. Our Haymakers are a strong vets team who gained promotion yet again.  They have a variety of events planned for this season to celebrate 20 years as a team.

As a club we have a strong junior section with a good representation of players within the England Hockey Single System at JRPC, Tier 1 and Tier 2 level. We have junior players integrated within the ladies teams and actively encourage them in their hockey development

We are always looking for players to come and join our club at any level. New faces are always welcome. We would particularly like to hear from anyone who is a goal keeper, or who would like to be a goalkeeper. If you would like more information about the Ladies Section of Havant Hockey Club please don't hesitate to contact me
