Welcome to Havant Hockey Club Ladies section
Ladies Club Captain- Penny van Berkel
The season 2011-2012 is nearly here and our pre season training is beginning in the second half of July. Our 2nd XI is beginning the new season in Hampshire Division 1 and our 1st XI restarts its quest for National League status having only just missed out last season. Our other Ladies teams are spread across the Hampshire League Divisions and give a solid foundation for players to progress through the club, and add to the social scene. We are looking forward to the new challenges this coming season will present
As a club we have a strong junior section with a good representation of players within the England Hockey Single System at JRPC, Tier 1 and Tier 2 level. We have junior players integrated within the ladies teams and actively encourage them in their hockey development
We are always looking for players to come and join our club at any level and any age. New faces are always welcome. If you would like more information about the Ladies Section of Havant Hockey Club please don't hesitate to contact me
Ongoing Training
Regular ladies club training will be on Thursday evenings starting September 8th. This is at Havant College. Pitch time is 6.30-8.00pm. Our ladies 2ndXI train on Tuesdays 6.45-8.30pm (fitness at 6.45, pitch training from 7.15)
Ladies 1st XI
Our ladies 1st XI train on Thursday evenings at Havant College, 6.30-8.00 during the season. If you are interested in playing for this team please contact Dave Ruthereford (coach) via the link on this website. New players welcome, particularly in view of this seasons ambitions for the team.
