The approach to this season has been even more hectic than previous years, with a full schedule of matches including tournaments both here and abroad. There have been many welcome additions this season, including those returning to Havant. This allied to the coaching provided by Steve Lawson and the addition of player coach Calum Giles, has further enhanced the skill levels of all players. This helps to raise the competitive level, as well as providing an air of excitement so necessary for achieving success.

Last season we were disappointed to finish in 4th place. Nevertheless it was agreed the unity portrayed both on and off the pitch enabled a strong team culture to develop, where sharing of knowledge, trusting each other and above all being accountable for performance became part of the team make- up. That trait has been carried forward to this season and we now have a squad comprising a fine blend of youth and experience. Waiting in the wings are a number of highly talented junior players who, hopefully, will be given an opportunity to gain National League experience during the season.
The coaching team of Steve Lawson and Calum Giles work extremely hard to ensure the team play in a style which is more competitive, yet provides a level of entertainment for our many supporters. This has given us great confidence for the season, for which the goal is promotion - no alternatives are acceptable.
To all supporters and visitors, I hope you will enjoy the matches. We also extend you an invitation to our clubhouse, where you can meet with players and enjoy refreshments.
