HAVANT HAVE IMPORTANT WEEKEND |
| Last
Saturdays
results
saw
our ladies slip from 2nd to 4th in the table
after a 4-1 Loss away at Wimbledon, whilst our men moved up one place
into 2nd position with a solid away win in the Midlands against
Bournville. Our ladies are just one point behind Hampstead in 1st
position, whilst our men are two points behind Birmingham University. |
| Our
men
are
also
at home at Havant College pushing back at 2.00pm against
local rivals Fareham, whilst ladies firsts start at 1145 This fixture as in most local derby's will provide plenty of passion and I am sure we will witness a fascinating game with two teams in good form. Fareham after a 3-2 home win against Cheltenham last weekend lie in 4th position in the table on 8 points, whilst we have 10 points. |
Top team Hampstead and Westminster are one point clear with ten, but then come Wimbledon, Maidenhead and Havant, all on nine, with Guildford chasing them with seven. Whilst Havant have a good chance of a full three points playing bottom placed Southgate with just one point, league leaders Hampstead also have an easy game home to Southampton with just two points. Three teams in the top four have lost a game, so it is a close run thing all waiting for Hampstead to falter. |
