A nail biting penalty stroke shootout saw Havant U14 Boys win against Salisbury and go through to the quarter finals of the Wessex Cup!

This was a superb team performance and a deserved win. Havant actually had 90% of the possession throughout the match, with Salisbury just managing to break away and score from the few times they actually made it into the havant D! Including scoring in the final moments of the game, from their only penalty corner of the match!

Havant for their part, had several penalty corners, only one of which they managed to convert into a goal, something to work on. But all in all a really superb performance from the whole team! The boys continued to work really hard throughout the match with Ben Davies putting in a brilliant performance in goal during the penalty strokes, saving several of Salisbury’s shots! Well done boys!
