The 6s played the second installment against the 5s who put out a very strong side. The 6s struck early on when Oly Pescott got his stick higher than the opposition defence to poke home at head height from close range. THe 5s settled in thereafter and pulled one back to go into half-time 1-1.
The 6s started the second half strongly, moving the ball better and went 3-1 ahead after good finishes from Luke and Jonny. The 6s looked in control until a couple of injuries (one to each side) delayed the play and the 5s regrouped. They pushed forwards with purpose and with Harry Walter at the back controlled any breaks we could muster. 2 quick goals by the 5s dragged it back to 3-3 which felt like a fair result.
Hopeful of a speedy recovery for both Ash Locke (knee) and Jonny Rawlinson (broken finger)
