Havant Hockey Club seeks an exceptional individual to become its Director of Coaching (DoC).
The appointee will be responsible for all aspects of coaching at the club from elite level to newcomers to the sport. In particular, once in post, the DoC will need to:
Set and agree the strategic approach for coaching at the club;
Develop and execute a plan for delivery of that strategy;
Organise and deliver coaching interventions across all levels and sections i.e. men, women and juniors (working with Director of Junior Coaching) from 1st teams downwards;
Establish a structure for the development and mentoring of coaches at the club.
Havant Hockey Club has vacancies for a number of coaches across all sections of the club - men, women and juniors.
Training takes place at the club's pitch at Havant College on midweek evenings from Monday to Thursday. In addition, there are opportunities to take responsibility for specific teams and provide pitchside support and direction at weekend matches.
