Ladies 1st XI coach confirmed for 2021 / 22

Jamie Whitehouse to continue as Ladies 1st XI coach

‘The club is delighted to confirm that Jamie Whitehouse will continue to coach the Ladies’ 1s for the 21/22 season; it will be his third season in the role. Jamie, a PE teacher by profession, combines coaching with playing as a member of the Men’s 1s squad. Next season the L1s will play in Premier 1 of the new South Central region - one tier down from the National league.

After the disruptions of the past twelve months, Jamie can’t wait for the new season and says - “The new league set up gives the team both a great opportunity and a significant challenge, as we’ll be competing at two tiers higher than this past season. We’re planning to thrive not just survive though. Pre-season planning and preparation is well underway. We have a core of players with National league experience already in the squad and we are in talks to bring others in. Thanks to our Coaching Director, Peter Beard, I have additional coaching support for the squad this coming year. That will give me the chance to make even more use of the video analysis software the club introduced last season. All in all exciting times ahead.”
