Hockey Camps

Hockey camps take place during school holidays throughout the year. Camps take place at Havant College and run from 9.30am to 16.00pm. Camps cost £30 for one day or £50 for two per child.

There are two camps that run simultaneously, the Junior Camp and the Development Camp. The Junior Camp is for all children, all abilities, aged between 5 – 13.

The Development camp is intended for those aspiring to or currently playing county level or above and for ages U14 – U16. We intend for this to be attended as a two-day camp.

The coaching team is led by Helen Smith (Havant Women’s 1XI manager) and Sophie Forrest (ex-Havant Women 1s). The team have been working together on camps for several years and aim to bring something new to each camp, keeping it fun and engaging for all children, whether they are new or returning players. All coaches have a full DBS check.

We encourage children from all backgrounds to get involved with the camps. Whether this would be the first time picking up a hockey stick, or you’re a seasoned player wanting to improve skills, get involved and have some fun!
